Woman Caught For a String of Hit-And-Runs in Ohio

A series of hit-and-runs that took place over the course of last week in Westlake and Bay Village, Ohio, left the authorities puzzled. On April 7th the perpetrator was finally caught — and it was a 24-year-old-woman, reports the local police department.

The first registered accident happened on April 4th when a 22-year-old woman was hit by a black sedan and knocked unconscious around 10 a.m. When she managed to get up she found out the whoever struck her did not stop. The victim received medical assistance for non-life-threatening injuries and filed a police report.

On April 7th, around the same a similar car hit two women, aged 21 and 25 while they were walking a dog. This time the victims were wounded more seriously. The same day police noticed a black vehicle with visible damages.

The driver, a young woman, explained she had hit a deer, which resulted in these damages. However, she was detained and her car taken for examination. On April 8th the woman, whose name is not revealed confessed in committing the aforementioned hit-and-runs.

She also confessed to hitting a middle-aged man on April 1.

The charges will reportedly be filed on April 10th.
