Subsequently here have been other animals contracting the virus including cats dogs even a lion and a tiger. Consequently, they are not only in the US alone but also in some countries in Europe. It has spread to a number of farms in the state. The workers on the farms had only mild symptoms according to the vets investigating the outbreak. Bred for their silky pelts which have also been carefully destroyed

The state veterinary service has confirmed that not a single pelt has been transported out of the state boundaries.
