Emma is the head of the Health Department in Regional USA. She is a professional nutritionist who believes in the power of a tasty meal. Emma spent her childhood years in her grandparents' home in Toscana — she loves to say that she was weaned on real Italian olives and semolina flour. That, along with her Nonna's vast book collection made her into the person she is today. After getting her Nutrition degree at Arizona State University, Emma finished an online screenwriting course, effectively uniting her knowledge to build a career on TV. She spent the next six years blissfully planning scripts for Food Liberation, Yummy Hour and Ask Your Doc, to name a few. Thankfully, we were lucky enough to snatch Emma for ourselves as our Sub-Editor, Health Editor and the endless source of seriously delicious vegan recipes (yes, those do exist!). Last year Emma moved to Louisiana with her partner, their two kids, and a pet iguana named Cormac. Email:roberts@regionalusa.com
