The latest disaster that hit Oklahoma around 5 a.m. April 22nd claimed at least 3 lives in the city of Madill. The third victim is currently hospitalized in critical condition, reports NBC.
The tornado ripped through the outskirts, knocking out electricity in more than 7 thousand houses and damaging at least a dozen facilities, including two factory buildings, says Department of Emergency Management.
At least one car was reportedly sucked into the twister, ending up on a tree.
In Texas, another tornado went through Polk County and the city of Jasper not far from Louisiana. In total, both Oklahoma and Texas were hit by at least 21 tornadoes in five hours.
