A graduation party in the Dearborn County of Indiana has ended tragically when a teenage boy lost his life to a gunshot wound.
According to the local Sheriff’s office, the victim, Paycin K. Kritlow, was attending a graduation party at the house of his friend and fellow graduate Tyler Baker. Around 1:30 a.m. a 911 was made and the first responders found 18-year-old laying outside with a gaping wound in his neck. Tyler’s father, William “Billy” Baker, was arrested.
The suspect’s brother-in-law would later testify about hearing a loud noise and discovering Kritlow’s body and Baker being held back by his wife, trying to slit his own throat with the knife. Baker kept referring to Kritlow, claiming he had raped his 17-year-old daughter. The daughter would later tell the police that she had never told her father anything about the alleged assault.
Baker has already confessed to shooting Kritlow from behind using his 30-06 rifle. He is now being held in Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center awaiting the initial hearing.
