Fracking Ban Not Voted For In Colorado

The people of Colorado have decided to do away with a fracking ban. Approving the ban would have interfered with the flourishing oil business in the state. However, it was not a total ban in the first instant.  It would have imposed specific distances from water sources for example. The oil companies were happy with the vote. It showed according to them. That the people Colorado were in favour of responsible operations. Allowing oversight on the relatively large sector in Colorado’s economy.

Despite the appeasing words from the oil representatives. They did not mention the vast sums spent by them. Amounting to double-digit millions of dollars. Used to influence and sway the vote in their favour

A list celebrities generated interest. To achieve a good outcome.
