The Denver Broncos of Colorado as some teams. Decided to not fill the stadium with a full audience. This is as a result of the Coronavirus obviously. However, they have been creative enough to come up with an idea. They have decided to help raise funds for charity. By filling 1800 seats with cutouts. From the very popular cartoon characters of the Southpark TV show. The seats were offered at a $100 to sponsorship from fans. The charitable act was rewarded as the south stand of the stadium was filled with the cartoon characters which was a novel sight on its own merit.

It goes to show that with a bit of ingenuity the virus can be the reason for good acts while observing social distancing and reducing the rate of potential infection

Michael runs our Sports News Department. He and his team cover everything athletic from all around the country. Michael has been fascinated with sports journalism ever since he was a child. It was something about the ability to put the raw emotions of a sports fan into words. He discovered that talent himself after being asked to cover a soccer game for a school newspaper. Despite getting a degree, Michael always says that a stadium stand was the best school of journalism for him. He acquired a decade worth of experience as a sportscaster for Goal FM, Capital Sport and Washington Prime. Today Michael inhabits a liveaboard in Portland (and wouldn't change it for anything), runs 18 miles a week and never misses a sports event. Email:davis@regionalusa.com
