Police in Everett, Washington, has arrested a 35-year- Ryan Leenders, a Boeing employee accused of fatally shooting a man.
According to a preliminary investigation, Leenders randomly met a couple, a man and a woman, both 28, in his neighborhood last weekend. He invited them to join a party he was allegedly holding.
Once the couple was inside his house, Leenders made sexual advances toward them but got rejected. When the guests tried to leave, Leenders aimed a gun towards them in order to acquire their possessions. The man tried to shield the woman with his body and got shot three times, in the chest and leg, killing him on the spot.
Neighbors heard screaming and called the police. Leenders was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and is currently being held in county jail with bail set on $1 million. It has been revealed that Leenders worked as a mechanic for Boeing.
