It seems like the wave of false Coronavirus attacks isn’t dying out anytime soon. One of the recent ones took place in the town of Cicero on April 1st.
The employees of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet got into some sort of altercation with two female customers and asked them to leave their store. Enraged, the women deliberately coughed in the face of two staff members, announcing that they had Coronavirus.
But it didn’t end there. After exiting, one of the women grabbed a bottle of pepper spray from her car, returned to the store, attacked the same employees with it and then fled the scene with her friend.
Their escape was cut short by a North Syracuse Police Officer.
The women were identified and charged after being turned to the New York State Police. 28-year old Lenaysia A. Myles received Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree, Harassment in the 1st degree, Menacing in the 3rd degree and Unlawful Possession of Noxious Material charges. She’s currently held in the Onondaga County Justice Center.
Her friend, 23-year-old Imani R. Huggins was charged with Harassment in the 1st degree and released with an appearance ticket.
